What is Levitra used for?

Levitra is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. In some cases, it may be prescribed to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), anon-iewicz-like condition that may occur with prostatectomy.

Levitra can also treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition in which the arteries in the lungs narrow, leading to shortness of breath, coughing, and dizziness. Levitra may be taken in doses of up to 30 milligrams during treatment, depending on the dose you are prescribed.

Use of Levitra for treating ED in men is not recommended, especially if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, problems with your liver, kidney, or heart failure, as Levitra can interact with other medications. If you have a history of these conditions, you should discuss the safety of using Levitra.

If you are taking Levitra for pulmonary arterial hypertension, do not take Levitra unless directed by your doctor. If you are on alpha-blocker medications like lisinopril, Levitra can cause your blood pressure to drop, which can affect your ED medication.

If you are taking lisinopril, use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary. Tell your doctor if you are on Levitra until you find a stopping dose.

Tell your doctor if you’re taking any form of nitrates, as these are used to treat chest pain and work quickly. Nitrates are replacement therapy to Levitra that’s not depression-like but that’s not what your doctor is providing.

‘ Levitra usage’ may not always reflect the true extent of activity on the ED medication. If you have specific questions about this treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist for assistance.”

This medication is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). While it may cause side effects, including headaches, they’re usually mild to moderate in their effect.
